Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at an education location, where you will monitor and patrol campus areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will support students, staff, and visitors with clear communication, strong customer service, and timely reporting of concerns. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, classrooms, athletic areas, parking areas, and perimeter grounds, observing for unusual activity and reporting concerns per post orders.
  • Monitor access points and visitor entry processes as assigned, verify identification and/or authorization, and help to deter unauthorized entry while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including policy violations, medical calls, disturbances, and/or property concerns, and request additional resources when needed.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs regarding patrol activity, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
