Overview
Every time a customer deploys compute in Microsoft Azure, a critical platform determines how resources are created, configured, and maintained to ensure reliability at massive scale. This team is responsible for building that platform and ensuring that it consistently meets the demands of global cloud usage. You will join a group that manages the distributed control systems responsible for orchestrating compute across regions, fault domains, and lifecycles for one of the largest cloud platforms in the world. The role involves close collaboration with engineers across Microsoft Azure to design and evolve highly reliable services that must adapt to constant change, recover effectively from failures, and directly support customer workloads across the globe. Working within this environment means contributing to systems that operate continuously and must remain dependable under dynamic conditions. The work centers on improving orchestration, strengthening reliability, and ensuring that compute resources are delivered and maintained with precision at scale. #azurecorejobs Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
