Azure Data Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Azure Data Engineer for a hybrid remote position located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity and requires 3 days onsite.

This role will join our client, a Major Financial Institution, to help centralize information security data and govern its usage. The selected candidate will analyze and develop the data ingestion pipelines required for a large-scale cybersecurity data platform, functioning as a key development resource and technical liaison between data owners and engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies
• Analyze and develop the ingestion pipeline of data sources for a cybersecurity data platform
• Develop data pipelines, implement data lakes, and ensure data security and compliance
• Function as a development resource and a technical liaison between data owners and security engineering teams
• Adhere to internal IT SDLC agile processes

Requirements:

• Senior-level experience (10+ years) in data engineering
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure technologies, including Synapse, Data Factory, and Databricks
• Experience designing and building enterprise data solutions
• Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.

Pay range: up to $89.95 per Hour
