Job Summary

Church & Dwight is seeking a Media Optimization & Growth Marketing Manager join our team. We are looking for a driven Media Optimization & Growth Marketing Manager, with a strong background in paid media to lead and optimize paid advertising campaigns across various brands and channels.

About the Role

In this role, you'll consult on paid media campaigns, own SEO/Search strategy for the organization, oversee budget management by brand and be the in-house expert on the latest partner capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to develop strong vendor relationships and become a thought leader in driving media excellence with robust on-going media optimization. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Growth Marketing and will support the enterprise.

Work Environment

Hybrid: This is a hybrid role based in Ewing, NJ and requires in- person attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work options on Mondays and Fridays.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Media Optimization

  • Develop and implement data-driven optimization strategies to maximize performance and improve media efficiency across paid search/SEO, social media advertising, video and potentially other digital channels.
  • Consult and optimize media campaigns for assigned brands or product categories, ensuring they deliver marketing objectives and meet or exceed channel-level goals.
  • Work with Measurement Team to manage reporting docs and presentations to Senior Leaders and Executives, including monthly scorecard, to ensure visibility across the enterprise.
  • Own the SEO/Search strategy for the organization, staying up to date with current capabilities across the landscape (with a focus on AI) and working with agency team to implement.

Foster Collaborative Media Excellence

  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager on media vendor management, communication, and data analysis, fostering strong and productive relationships.
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure media efforts align with broader marketing goals.
  • Champion a culture of experimentation by developing rigorous testing frameworks that deliver significant learnings and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and agencies, fostering clear communication and collaboration for optimal campaign performance.

Drive Campaign Success with allocated budget

  • Consult on allocation of large monthly budgets across various online channels, including SEM, paid social and video, maximizing return on investment (ROI).
  • Manage and forecast national media budgets on a monthly and yearly basis, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Work with finance counterparts monthly to manage budget by brand, track MPAs, and update budget tracker based on quarterly shifts.
Skills and Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Familiarity with various advertising platforms like Search Engine Marketing (SEM), social media advertising (e.g., Meta Ads, TikTok Ads), and potentially other video/audio channels.
  • Proficiency in using campaign management tools and platforms specific to the advertising channels.
  • Ability to interpret campaign data from various sources, including ad platforms, web analytics tools, and marketing automation platforms. Adept at using data visualization tools to present insights effectively.
  • Familiarity with relevant MarTech tools that can be used to optimize campaigns, such as A/B testing tools, marketing attribution platforms, and social listening tools.
  • Able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Financial acumen with the ability to manage and scale large digital advertising budgets across various channels and brands.
  • Ability to create clear and concise reports and presentations that effectively communicate campaign performance and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Leadership Skills

  • Heavily focused on hitting KPIs while being mindful of our brand and user experience.
  • Digitally minded, but interested in and excited to work across multiple mediums and channels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to speak fluently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • No challenge is too big or small. You're equally an executor and can go deep into the details, but also can drive big picture strategy.
  • Experience managing conflict in matrixed cross-functional team environment.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, ideally with hands on experience managing paid social and search campaigns.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in an analytical role.
Compensation and Benefits

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $110,900- $157,900. This position is also eligible for a bonus.

As a Church & Dwight US employee, you (and eligible dependents, as applicable) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid vacation and sick time, and Paid Parental Leave. U.S. employees are entitled to paid holidays, floating holidays, and vacation days starting in their first year of employment depending on hire date. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
