Design Public Group is in search of a Regional Director A&D - West Coast to join our team supporting our west coast market.
What We Need:
The Regional Director, A&D will be responsible for driving revenue growth and brand elevation across the designated Coast markets through strategic client engagement, marketing activation, and exceptional brand experiences. This role combines business development with integrated marketing initiatives to deepen relationships with architecture and design professionals, increase specifications, and position the brand as a leader in the design community.
What You Will Do:
  • Develop and manage relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, contractors, and design firms to drive product specifications and revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain a high-value project pipeline across residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors to consistently exceed territory goals.
  • Conduct site visits, office presentations, CEU programs, and showroom meetings to influence design decisions and secure specifications.
  • Position the brand as a market leader by representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and design weeks.
  • Plan and lead signature programming-including product launches, design talks, exhibitions, and networking events-to generate qualified leads and elevate brand visibility.
  • Partner with marketing to execute integrated campaigns, co-branded initiatives, and sponsorships that increase regional brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create compelling content and storytelling from events and client projects to extend brand reach through social, press, and industry channels.
  • Build strategic partnerships with AIA chapters, design organizations, cultural institutions, and media to expand influence and referral networks.
  • Strengthen dealer relationships through training, co-marketing programs, and sales support to grow channel performance.
  • Share market intelligence, client insights, and competitive trends to inform marketing strategy and product development.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and track key performance metrics-including pipeline activity, event ROI, and revenue growth.
  • Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.
What You Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business or related field required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales, showroom management, or client relationship management within furniture, surfaces, or building materials environment required; 7 years of experience preferred.
