Asset Management Specialist

DMI, LLC is seeking a highly detail-oriented and technically skilled Asset Management Specialist to support enterprise asset visibility and compliance within the SEC environment. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives on precision, automation, and leveraging advanced discovery technologies to ensure IT asset integrity at scale.

Role Overview

The Asset Management Specialist performs specialized asset verification, tracking, and reporting activities using advanced electronic discovery tools. Leveraging technologies such as RFID, CompuTrace, and BigFix, this role ensures real-time visibility and control of IT assets while supporting ISS2 PWS asset management and compliance requirements.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining asset accountability, strengthening audit readiness, and enhancing enterprise-wide operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

    Manage and maintain day-to-day asset accuracy using electronic discovery tools

  • Utilize RFID, CompuTrace, and BigFix to conduct asset review, verification, and reporting

  • Perform automated asset scans and reconcile discrepancies

  • Identify unauthorized, missing, or non-compliant assets

  • Conduct physical asset verification and audits using RFID technology

  • Generate detailed and comprehensive asset reports

  • Maintain and configure electronic discovery tools that support asset tracking

  • Analyze asset data to identify trends and recommend process improvements

  • Support audit and compliance initiatives

  • Document procedures related to electronic asset tracking and discovery

  • Troubleshoot issues related to asset discovery tools and systems



Qualifications

Required Experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of specialized experience managing and supporting electronic discovery tools for asset management

  • Hands-on experience with RFID, CompuTrace, and BigFix

  • Proven ability to conduct automated asset verification and reporting

  • Strong understanding of asset management best practices and lifecycle methodologies

  • Experience in data analysis and reporting

Education & Substitutions

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience.

Substitutions permitted per contract guidelines:

  • No Degree: 2 additional years of experience

  • Associate's Degree: 1 additional year of experience

  • Bachelor's Degree: Meets baseline requirement

  • Master's Degree or PhD: No additional experience required

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with BigFix asset discovery and inventory modules

  • Knowledge of RFID implementation and management

  • Familiarity with CompuTrace or comparable theft recovery solutions

  • Proficiency with asset management databases and reporting tools

  • Experience supporting compliance auditing and reconciliation efforts

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Requirements
  • Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or Public Trust clearance

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Location: Alexandria, VA

  • No physical requirements for this position
