Primary Purpose of Position
This is a temporary, part-time position with administrative responsibilities and reports to the Program Director. The part-time associate director within the Physician Assistant (PA) Program is primarily responsible for curriculum development, instruction, and/or course coordination in the didactic and/or clinical phase of the program. It is expected that the associate director will be effective in the areas of course design, course delivery, and evaluation. The associate director is instrumental in ensuring the program is meeting the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for Physician Assistant ( ARC-PA) Accreditation Standards.

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.)
***No more than 20 hours per week
Primary Function of Organizational Unit
To prepare highly qualified, diverse graduates to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care, particularly for underserved communities in North Carolina. The 27-month, full-time, Master's-level program aims to address regional provider shortages by training practitioners in both didactic and clinical settings.
