Location: Rolling Meadows, IL FLSA Status: Exempt About Komori America Corporation Komori is a global leader in printing technology, delivering innovative offset, digital, and inkjet solutions that support high-quality, efficient print production. The Komori Graphic Center (KGC) showcases these technologies through demonstrations and training for customers across North America. Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced operations leader to oversee the Komori Graphic Center (KGC). The KGC Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the center and leads the solution lifecycle of Komori America Corporation (KAC) offset and digital products. This role ensures that demonstrations, training, and solution presentations meet customer expectations and support organizational goals. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Lead the successful presentation and demonstration of all Komori products-offset presses, inkjet solutions, and related hardware/software-both at the KGC and customer sites. Serve as subject matter expert and internal champion for KAC technologies and solutions. Manage daily KGC operations, including budgeting, scheduling, and KPI performance. Oversee training programs for customers and KAC service personnel. Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and the sales team. Travel within the continental U.S., Canada, and internationally as required. Apply strong consultative selling techniques to support sales opportunities. Build effective, professional relationships with key internal stakeholders and vendor partners. Qualifications Education & Experience Ten years of demonstration experience with digital and offset solutions for the Graphic Arts industry. G7 certification preferred. Five to ten years of project or program management experience. Strong understanding of technology positioning and competitive differentiation. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined in managing multiple priorities. Language & Communication Skills Ability to read and interpret business journals, technical procedures, and industry materials.
Strong written communication skills for authoring reports, procedures, and business correspondence. Effective presenter capable of addressing managers, customers, and public audiences. Computer & Technical Skills Knowledge of both Mac and PC platforms. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, digital/sheetfed imposition, and color management workflows. Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Fujifilm XMF workflow experience preferred. Supervisory Responsibilities Manages two or more employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and resolving issues in accordance with organizational policies and laws. Work Environment Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical systems, fumes, and airborne particles. Noise levels may be loud. Physical Demands Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds. Requires close and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
