Billing and Government Follow-Up Supervisor

Coordinates and supervises the billing and Government Follow up functions for all NSH facilities. Ensures daily billing of hospital revenue and accuracy and quality of billing activities. Works with hospital departments such as Admissions, Data Processing, Medical Records, ancillary areas and patient care departments to monitor issues with account registration, charging, and coding to ensure efficiency in the patient account process.

REQUIRED:
1. a. B.S. degree in a related field plus three (3) years billing and receivables experience, OR b. Associate's Degree or equivalent in Business plus five (5) years experience in billing or related field, two (2) years of which was in a supervisory or leadership capacity. OR c. High School diploma or equivalent and seven (7) years billing or account receivables experience, three (3) of which must have been in a supervisory capacity. 2. Knowledge of patient accounting or electronic billing system. 3. Good verbal and written communication skills.

1. Certified Manager of Patient Accounts (CMPA)
