You will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist with access control and visitor directions. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and deliveries, including checking identification, maintaining visitor logs, and directing traffic flow when required.
  • Complete detailed reports of patrol activities, irregular conditions, and incident response actions, and support investigations by preserving observations and following chain-of-command reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
