Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Sanford, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The Staff Accountant will analyze transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), prepare journal entries, and reconcile balance sheet accounts in support of the financial reporting process.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations as assigned.
  • Month-end close support, preparing manual journal entries with auditable support.
  • Prepare and ensure updates to the monthly close checklist.
  • Collect and catalog monthly journal entries.
  • Ad hoc analysis.
  • Assist in audit preparations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $43.26 - $48.07 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week.

Length: Contract (3 months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing month-end and year-end close processes.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • SAP experience.
  • Good knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • High-level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
