We are excited to announce that we have an opening in our Clarksburg, MD office for a Senior Manager, Program Finance. This reports into the Director of Finance- Systems, Programs & Pricing.

Responsibilities




  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations of financial analysts, ensuring high performance and accountability.
  • Oversee project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and reporting, ensuring projects meet financial goals.
  • Direct the development and maintenance of financial structures in SAP, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Review and approve project cost reports, journal entries, and reconciliations, providing strategic insights to leadership.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Lead forecasting and reporting initiatives, delivering actionable insights to executives and stakeholders.
  • Interface regularly with senior leadership, customers, and government personnel, representing Finance with professionalism and authority.
  • Create a positive work environment, set high performance standards, and coach team members for growth and development.
  • Assign tasks strategically, ensuring alignment with skill sets and organizational priorities.
  • Design meaningful, challenging assignments that align with strategic goals and foster employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and controls.



Supervisory Responsibilities

This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's operating policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities can include interviewing, hiring, training and developing employees; creating effective staff plans - assigning and directing work; performance appraisals, rewarding and management of employee discipline when required; and addressing complaints and resolving conflicts. Active mentoring and development of staff is a critical element of the supervisory responsibilities to create a highly performing cohesive team.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required. - Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Accounting/Finance/Economics.
  • 8-10 years+ of project finance experience, and/or previous people management background


    • Manufacturing/ DOD Program Finance Reporting environment preferred.


  • Knowledge of GAAP or IFRS.
  • Excellent organizational skills and work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and interact with employees in all departments and functions.
  • Ability to see a problem or challenge and create a solution - a "roll up your sleeves and get it done" work ethic.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications - Fluent in English.
  • Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.



Preferred Qualifications




  • SAP S/4 HANA
  • Knowledge of FAR, DFAR, CAS.
  • Familiarity with government contracting accounting experience.



The annualized pay range for this role is$145,000- $195,000USD along with a target incentive compensation plan (ICP) of 10%. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of the experience level for the role described above. TDSI considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
