Inside the Role

As part of the Gastonia Parts Plant team, you are responsible for providing electro-mechanical support. The candidate for this position will have a passion for process improvements, a keen eye to detail, and love numbers. We Take Care of Our Team

Typically requires high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

Install and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
Able to trouble-shoot Robotic, PLC and Servo Drive Controls
Perform repairs on CNC Machining Centers, CNC Punches, Brake Presses, Progressive Stamping Presses and Automated Manufacturing Systems
Knowledge of Air Compressors, Boiler Systems, Chiller Systems, HVAC Equipment and Industrial Electrical Systems
Able to install and set-up AC-DC motors and controls
Extensive knowledge of automated industrial manufacturing equipment

Basic Required Skills & Experience:

Documentation substantiating 8 years of practical experience in the Industrial Maintenance field Exceptional working knowledge of Industrial Maintenance (electrical and mechanical technologies).
Practical knowledge of Preventive Maintenance Systems and Root Cause Failure Analysis.
Applicants will be required to take a skilled trades test during trial period.
Ability to perform all the essential functions of the job with reasonable accommodations provided, if necessary.
Hands on experience with mechanical and electrical tools used in the maintenance trade.
Able to operate power tools, cranes, man lifts, scissor lifts, welders, burn torches, drill presses and hydraulic presses.
Practical experience with electrical meters, oscilloscope and general maintenance tools.

Basic Preferred Skills & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent
Technical degree
Journeyman Card and documentation showing a "Bona Fide" Apprenticeship equaling 4 years' experience in skilled trades
