ABOUT THE ROLE
The Leadership Training & Development Manager C&I is responsible for strengthening the capability, consistency, and performance of Sturgeon leaders through structured training, certification tracking, and targeted development programs. This role oversees key training initiatives including STS-C, GFLT, FLT, EEW, and FPM while ensuring all Foremen and General Foremen receive modern, relevant training aligned with current industry trends and standards. The position partners closely with the Organizational Learning & Development (OL&D) team, Operations leadership, and the Sturgeon Training & Development Committee to design, modernize, and deliver high-impact training across Sturgeon COC C&I. Additionally, this role supports large-scale projects with customized on-site training regimens and guides strategic direction of training through a cross-functional training committee. While this role has an initial concentration on field leadership, it is not limited to that group and will encompass other Sturgeon leadership training & development needs as needed.
