Responsibilities

Join Our Team as an Admissions Manager!

Are you ready to lead a dynamic team and make a real impact in the world of healthcare admissions? If you're passionate about guiding others and ensuring a smooth admissions process, we want YOU!

Key Performance Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Admissions Coordinators with ongoing feedback through weekly 1:1 meetings, 90-day, and annual reviews.
Caseload Management: Carry a standard admissions caseload while ensuring excellence in service.
Financial Approvals: Determine financial approvals and escalate when necessary.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Clinical Director of Admissions to prioritize clinical clearances and assist the team with timely medical clearances.
Pre-Authorizations: Ensure pre-authorizations are requested efficiently and on time.
Clinical Outreach: Oversee and assign Clinical Outreach cases, serving as the main point of contact for follow-ups.
Tracking & Reporting: Track and report discharges and admissions, managing required forms and electronic systems.
On-Site Coordination: Act as the point person for on-site staff at designated facilities.
Census Projections: Report census projections to admissions and company leadership.
Performance Reporting: Provide performance reports from company systems (CRM, EMR, etc.).
Training & Development: Strategize and implement staff training, keeping the team updated on admissions policies and procedures.
Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED required.
* At least 12 months of experience in an admissions or behavioral healthcare setting strongly preferred.
* Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
