Join our team as the Supervisor, Regional Engineering & Reliability for the Gulf Coast Region, where you will play a critical role in delivering engineering and technical reliability services that ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our terminals and facilities. In this leadership position, you will guide and support a dedicated team-equipping them with the resources, direction, and expertise needed to effectively plan, schedule, and execute key operational responsibilities across the region.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide positive leadership and coaching to staff to maximize their potential and capability.

  • Interpretation and application of Enbridge engineering standards, State and Federal regulations, industry codes, and industry recommend practices

  • Maintain the Region risk register and issue tracker, along with provide inputs into non-region owned risks within the Gulf Coast Region assets

  • Identify and implement risk reducing initiatives and recommend procedural changes to pipeline operations within the Region to enhance operations excellence

  • Ensure region input is provided to all project teams executing work that will impact operations through each phase of the project including design, construction, commissioning, and transition to allow seamless project integration

  • Ensure technical maintenance expertise and engineering support is provided to all field groups including PLM, Operations and Maintenance.

  • Collaboratively work with centralized support groups and act as a liaison between field operations and those groups.

  • Provide emergency response leadership as part of the Incident Command System (ICS) and technical support as required ensuring regional engineering and reliability staff are prepared and can respond to a pipeline emergency.

  • Perform rotational on-call duties as the Regional On-Call Point of Contact.

  • Lead and participate in root cause failure analysis (RCA), contributing to continuous reliability improvement efforts.

  • Coordinate regional engineering to ensure that all Alternate Isolation Job Plans are approved as per Enbridge's Safe Work Isolation Policy.

  • Work with Risk and Long Range Forecast Specialist to lead the asset management strategy for the region including the LRF (long range forecast) process

  • Lead the MOC process including the role out and implementation of new standards and specifications within Gulf Coast Transmission Region.

  • Support Operational staff in working with Business Development, Asset Management, Shipper Services, CCO and Facility Development to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Provide representation on applicable internal committees (i.e. Leak Reduction Team, Facilities Integrity).

  • Support new business and project development activities within the region.

  • Provide direct support to the Manager, Regional Services Gulf Coast Region.

  • Participate in regulatory audits and review regulator initiatives for implementation

  • Provide 24-hour emergency response and operations call-out support including coverage for the Regional Services Manager during their absence.

  • Responsible for providing technical SME support within the Region.

Who You Are:

  • Related university degree and seven-plus years' experience OR nine-plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of organization and hierarchy, and experience in Pipeline Operations.

  • Strong leadership skills.

  • Ability to work and effectively communicate at all levels in the organization to gather information and promote improvements. Experienced in advocating for improvements.

  • Experience with operations and maintenance of a liquid pipeline system.

  • Proven ability to initiate and manage change, be innovative, think strategically, and work well with teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited engineering program preferred. #joinourteam #LI-Hybrid
