Key Responsibilities



  • Ensure that issues escalated to MISO senior management are largely mitigated.
  • Establish and maintain an internal customer relationship with the MISO subject matter experts in various operations and planning fields in order to best serve the external customer.
  • Serve as a thought leader and presenter via seminars, conferences and roadshows.
  • Work cooperatively in a team environment to achieve individual and organizational excellence.



What you Bring:



  • Bachelor's degree in, Communications, Government Relations, Business, or related field, (or 12 + years relevant work experience equivalency)



What we would like you to have:



  • Master's degree (preferred)
  • Previous State Commission and Energy industry experience (preferred)


The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $134,000-159,000 USD annually. Base salary range for this position is included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, and qualifications/experience.

Position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met. At MISO we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401k, vacation, sick and safe time, available on your first day of employment.

Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
