JD



  • 7 years of IT experience with at least 4 years specializing in AWS architecture or cloud engineering
  • Strong knowledge of core AWS services EC2 VPC Lambda ECSEKS RDS Aurora S3 KMS CloudWatch IAM CloudTrail
  • Handson experience designing and implementing AWS solutions using enterprise patterns
  • Proficiency with IaC and DevOps tools Terraform CloudFormation GitHub CICD pipelines
  • Deep understanding of cloud security concepts and enterprise governance models
  • Experience in hybrid cloud or multi account AWS environments
  • AWS certification or Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent strongly preferred
  • Architecture Design, Design cloud solutions using AWS architecture patterns including Standardized VPC patterns
  • Cloud Landing Zone CLZ aligned network and security topologies
  • Serverless and container reference architectures
  • Approved data platform integration patterns eg S3 Lambda Glue Redshift API Gateway Enterprise IAM and cross account access patterns
  • Create high level and detailed solution architectures aligned with enterprise standards and cloud governance



Responsibilities



  • The Senior Cloud Engineer performs technical planning architecture development and modification of specifications for cloud computing environments
  • Develops specifications for new IT cloud computing products and service offerings
  • Assesses the compatibility and integration of products services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies
  • Begins to influence departments strategy
  • Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components and work is performed without direction
  • Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments
  • Technologists who are passionate about building software products on multi Cloud and enjoys taking lead in end-to-end process will find this position very rewarding
  • These products centre around facilitating bidirectional exchange of information using event driven architecture across cloud native platforms meant to enable interoperability which is highly visible initiative
  • The candidate will work in small team focused on Product engineering to define Architecture guide product engineers and collaborate with other product engineers from cross functional teams



Additional Information



  • This role will be responsible for following security architecture guidelines and collaborate with cloud security teams and establish cloudbased architecture IaasPaaSSaaS
  • Will report to the Associate Director Technology Solutions IT Business Data Analytics
