The targeted hiring range for this full-time position is $126,000-$170,000 depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and job location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, competencies, experience, and relevant education, training or a combination of these things and market demand. Job Description

Red Wing Shoes is seeking a Director of Key Accounts to join our North America Wholesale Department. This role is accountable for leading and expanding Red Wing's most strategic wholesale partnerships. This position serves asresponsible for longterm growth planning, sellin/sellthrough performance, and crossfunctional alignment. The Director will drive strategy acrossthe wholesalechannels, ensuring Red Wing's brand presence and profitability goals are achieved.This leader oversees and develops a team of Key Account Managers,overseeingeffective execution of the strategies in the field and attainment of revenue and profitability goals.

Essential Duties include:

  • Provide insights on the needs of the business to theManagingDirector ofNorth America Wholesaleandparticipatesin the development of sales strategies for the North Americawholesale teamin support of corporate strategies

  • Directs and manages the process toacquirenewkey accountsand grow existing businessin order todrive revenue and ensure customer satisfaction

  • Work cross functionally to deploy and enable adoption of processes,toolsand training in support ofWholesalestrategies; ensures sales team isleveragingsalesmethodology, andeffectively manage sales pipeline

  • Collaborate with Product Creation and Marketing in the development of product and marketing in support ofwholesalestrategies

  • Leverage insights and analytics provided by Revenue Operations to determineappropriate resourcedeployment, pipeline management, team and program effectiveness, and future strategy development

  • Achieve financialobjectivesby forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances;initiatingcorrective actions

  • Manage and growexisting accountrelationships to drive expansion and renewals

  • Expand account base by successfully moving new opportunities through sales pipeline

  • Manage assigned staff: provide clear goals and expectations; ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities; coach; manage performance; develop; salary administration; enforce systems,policiesand procedures; recruit,selectand onboard new employees

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in sales, marketing, business or a related field,and a minimum 7 to 10 years ofsales management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Required experience includes selling to key accounts in a Wholesale sales environment; Experience creating and implementing successful sales initiativesand plans; Experience with leveraging CRM software such as Salesforce.com, toprofitablymanage sales pipeline; Experience with effectively leading sales teams in a highly networked organization preferred.

  • Experience inselling premium footwear/workwear is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong ability to get results throughinfluence andcollaboration with organizational partners

  • Ability toconsistently andeffectively leverage a dynamic sales processresultingin increased revenue and profitability, including prospecting, developing opportunities, closing new business, onboarding accounts, and growing existing accounts

  • Effectivelymanage a sales pipeline to achieve sales goals and defined KPIs

  • Strong financial and business acumen; understands the dynamics of the business and the business strategy

  • Strong communicationand analytical skillsrequired, including the ability to interpret and articulate business needsand challenges, andformulate pragmatic, effectiverecommendations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

Work Environment:

Home-based office, withfrequenttraveltocustomer environments (approximately 50%). Frequent business travel to Red Wing, MN headquarters for intentional "Moments that Matter" and business needs.
