Alliant Health Solutions, a "2025 Best Places to Work" by the Atlanta Business Chronicle, and "2025 Healthiest Employers" is currently seeking a part-time, Cloud Coordinator Intern from the Atlanta area (30346).

The cloud coordinator intern position is designed to provide a dual-enrollment student or undergraduate student experience and exposure to a variety of information technology (IT) administration tasks required to support cloud operations, security, desktop support and other functions. This paid internship offers a hands-on opportunity to experience cloud services coordination, customer care for users, and contribute to the organization's cybersecurity posture.

In this position, the ideal candidate will:

  • Assist in tracking and coordinating cloud infrastructure projects and service requests.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and knowledge base development.
  • Maintain documentation related to cloud environments, configuration, and workflows.
  • Provide remote and on-site support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Document and support activities and resolutions in the IT service management system.
  • Support efforts to ensure systems and processes align with internal security policies and external standards (e.g., HITRUST, NIST).
  • Assist in tracking and updating compliance-related documentation (e.g. access reviews, audit logs, policy acknowledgments)
  • Work in close collaboration with other team members to support the development of new projects and the continuous improvement of the overall work of the team.
  • Promote core values of teamwork, professionalism, effective communication skills and positive behaviors.
  • Maintain security and confidentiality of all information in accordance with HIPAA laws and regulations and company policies.
  • Demonstrate compliance with company corporate and departmental policies as evidenced by attendance, punctuality, and dress.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

Knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience and training required for the position include:

  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms and desktop support principles
  • Knowledge, skill and ability to manage, prioritize and organize tasks
  • Knowledge, skill and ability to communicate in verbal and written formats
  • Ability to travel to company locations, customer meetings and/or other locations as needed
  • Dual enrollment or actively pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, cyber security or related fields of study
  • Interest in cybersecurity and compliance frameworks
  • Familiarity with Windows environment
  • Healthcare, government, nonprofit, or service industry experience preferred
