Location: Allen Park, MA

Pay Rate: $31.96 per hour

Schedule: Hybrid (4 days onsite); full-time onsite at plant during launch

We are seeking a results-driven New Model Launch Engineer to support new vehicle and powertrain program launches across North America assembly plants. This role is responsible for end-to-end program management, ensuring the successful delivery of new model programs on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead overall program management for new vehicle launches, including timing, budget control, and status reporting.
• Manage pre-production build events, prototype approvals, and fleet evaluation plans.
• Oversee vehicle ordering, builds, testing, and disposition.
• Serve as a gatekeeper for new model programs and manage cross-functional build issue resolution.
• Co-chair launch meetings and drive part and supplier issues to closure.
• Prepare and present executive-level program assessments and weekly status reports.
• Manage launch budget approvals and track program expenditures.
• Coordinate plant transition activities and support assembly operations during launch.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required; Engineering degree preferred.
• Proven program management experience in manufacturing or automotive environments.
• Experience supporting pre-production builds and plant launch activities.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency in reporting tools.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel extensively (9-12 months at a time) to support plant launches.
