Portland, OR. Application Developer

Provides application software development services. Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications. Codes, tests, debugs and documents software applications. Analyzes requirements and tests and integrates application components. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented. Designs, codes, tests, corrects and documents complex programs and scripts from agreed specifications and subsequent iterations using agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result. Maintains application support processes and checks that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures. Prioritizes and diagnoses incidents according to agreed procedures. Investigates causes of incidents and seeks resolution. Defines the integration build, accepts software modules from software developers and produces software builds for loading onto the target environment. Configures the hardware environment, produces integration test specifications and conducts tests, recording details of any failures and carrying out fault diagnosis.

Experience and Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field, 5 years of experience in developing advanced Web Applications and User Interface (UI) applications using JAVA, Python, Javascript, Spring MVC, SpringBoot, Microservices, Hibernate, REST-SOAP APIs, HTML, CSS jQuery, Ajax, W3C Standards, NodeJS and Angular JS. All experience and requirements may be gained concurrently.

Compensation Range:

$100,350.00 - $167,250.00

Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
