Job Description

Shift: Day
Pay Rate: $25.00



Position Summary:
* Responsible for executing the planner workbenches, this includes the Shipping WB, the Routing WB and the Production WBs. Work with Production management to develop and maintain a daily and weekly production schedule. Apply knowledge of demand management, capacity planning, scheduling, and process improvement in support of the company's strategic objectives. Implement a strategy that effectively analyzes, communicates, and executes the short, medium- and long-term production scheduling objectives to meet on-time delivery.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Coordinate production activities and distribution of products. Manage the movement of goods into and out of production facilities using inventory control procedures.
* Interact with multiple departments to include Customer Service, Procurement, Engineering and Production management to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.
* Assist with determining staffing requirements and help develop staffing plan. Preparing work schedules and helping assign specific duties. Conduct or attend staff meetings.
* Help coordinate production activities and scheduling to increase efficiency.
* Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Practice personal safety and follow all safety practices and procedures. Comply with all policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to management.

* Perform other duties as assigned, which will include Logistics, Material Handling

Qualifications

Education:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* One to three years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.



Requirements:
* Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods
* Use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
* Experience working in a team environment
* Requires attention to detail and being thorough in completing work tasks
* Ability to define problems; collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
* Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
* Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
* Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations
* Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
* Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
* Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors
