Maintenance Foreman-RSMU Pay Grade: 922 Location: Possum Kingdom Vacancy Announcement Nature Of The Work Safety Sensitive Position WC 7520 Brief Description The purpose of this position is to assist with ensuring the safe operation and extended life of Brazos River Authority (BRA) dam flood gates and infrastructure. This is accomplished by supervising and mentoring personnel; assisting with gate and dam maintenance; assisting with the scheduling and prioritizing of work performed; operating heavy equipment, boats and barges; completing construction projects; inspecting BRA property and dam for needed repairs; performing maintenance functions; and completing work related to steel fitting. Other responsibilities include performing equipment maintenance and record keeping; inspecting the dam at least monthly; assisting the RSMU Maintenance Superintendent as needed; and any other duties as assigned.
