Nurse Practitioner MED-ZSFG-AIDS Full Time 87913BR Job Summary The SCOPE Project, part of the Division of HIV, Infectious Diseases & Global Medicine at ZSFG, is a cohort study of HIV-infected individuals supporting clinical, translational, and interventional research. Directed by Drs. Steven Deeks, Jeffrey Martin, and Michael Peluso, it also includes LIINC, a SARS-CoV-2 cohort studying long-term impacts of infection. The Nurse Practitioner 2 will collaborate with program managers, nurses, coordinators, and analysts to implement HIV and COVID-19 research protocols and trials, including tissue sampling and interventional studies. Additionally, the NP will provide care in the Long COVID Clinic, conducting assessments, care planning, and multidisciplinary coordination for patient outcomes. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $105.50 - $136.83 (Hourly Rate). With its home-base located at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center (ZSFG), the Division has been ranked as the top facility in the country for AIDS care since 1983. The Division's work is featured frequently in the media, and it is often visited by numerous international, national, state, and local dignitaries and delegations. The Division consists of approximately 38 faculty members, 16 fellows/postdoctoral scholars and 170 academic and staff employees. It is the largest Division of the Department of Medicine (DOM) at ZSFG, with a total expenditure budget of approximately $52 million dollars. Required Qualifications Graduation from a California Board of Registered Nursing approved or verified school of nursing with a master's degree in nursing or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
