Description

Overview: Located in Des Moines, IA, the Intern provides first-level technical help desk support to end users, with a focus on supporting iOS devices alongside general IT helpdesk duties. This role offers hands-on experience troubleshooting mobile devices, assisting users, and supporting the Helpdesk team. As part of the internship, the position will see occasional travel to support users or other Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company locations.



Major Responsibilities:



  • Provide support for iOS devices (iPhones, iPads), including setup, configuration, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Assist users with email, applications, connectivity, and device security.
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets, phone calls, and walk-up support requests.
  • Support user account management, password resets, and access requests.
  • Document issues and resolutions; escalate complex issues as needed.

Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications:



  • High school diploma/GED preferred. Preference given to students pursuing an Associates/Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) or related field.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation. Must meet company insurance eligibility requirements
  • Familiarity with iOS devices and basic mobile device management concepts preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365 is a plus.
  • Strong technical capacity.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Inquisitive and willing to learn.
  • Good organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities, with good problem-resolution and analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent team-player; strong customer service skills.
  • Flexible with the ability to adapt to varying situations.
  • Must provide professional contact and appearance with customers which upholds Atlantic Bottling's brand image.
  • Regular attendance is required and considered an essential job function.

Additional:



  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, talk, and hear. The ability to climb stairs is also needed.


  • The typical workdays will be Monday-Friday for this internship position. We will work around school responsibilities. Minimum of 20 hours per week is expected during the academic year with additional hours expected during the summer period.
  • Occasional travel to other locations to provide on-site IT support, as-needed.
