Principal Investigator (pSMILE)

Culmen International is seeking a Principal Investigator to provide scientific and strategic leadership for the pSMILE project, sets overall program direction and goals, ensures research alignment with NIH/DAIDS objectives, and maintains high-level oversight of operational, scientific, and quality assurance activities.

Lead the overall planning, execution, and evaluation of the pSMILE contract.
• Engage with NIH/DAIDS, collaborators, and stakeholders on policy, strategy, and deliverables.
• Guide response to complex laboratory quality issues and research needs.
• Oversee scientific reporting, publications, and high-level quality outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with federal and institutional requirements.

• Advanced scientific degree (PhD, MD, etc.) with leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in clinical laboratory science and proficiency testing.
• Proven record in research leadership and global quality assurance.
