Provides direct and indirect patient care as determined/delegated by the OR Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager or Anesthesia providers. Assists with tasks necessary for the general management and organization of the nursing unit or Anesthesia services, based upon meeting patient or unit needs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalency required. Prior experience in a medical or operating room environment preferred. Accepted and enrolled in pre-requisite coursework to meet requirements for the surgical technologist accredited program required. Must remain in good standing during coursework completion. Must have completed all Surgical Tech Lab courses within 90 days of start date. OTHER CREDENTIALS / CERTIFICATIONS: Per manager's discretion - Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.
