POSITION: Residential Loan Closer

Position Summary:

We are committed to exceeding expectations and having a strong commitment to diversity.As a Residential Loan Closer, you will have an in-depth knowledge of residential loan products, closing documents, policies, and procedures. The Residential Loan Closer will be responsible for the coordination, preparation, and timely delivery of all home equity and mortgage loan closing documents.

Key Result Areas:

* Effectively manage and monitor assigned closing pipeline within regulatory compliance guidelines, rate lock expiration dates and purchase closing dates.

* Prepare Closing Disclosures in collaboration with bank approved closing attorneys to ensure accurate and timely delivery to the borrower(s) in compliance with TRID.

* Schedule loan closings with bank approved closing attorney's or branch offices in an efficient and frictionless manner.

* Prepare and review closing documents including and not limited to completing a final verification of employment and credit refresh, ensuring proper maintenance of Encompass within the bank's defined procedures, and utilizing checklist(s) and other various source documents including Title, MLC, ALTA, seller CD.

* Assist in curing all post-closing errors and omissions for both investor, agency, and portfolio loans in a timely and efficient manner.

* Attend and participate in regularly scheduled in-person staff meetings and attend daily huddle Teams video call to discuss closing priorities.

* Work both independently and as a team with Mortgage Loan Officers, Loan Analysts, Underwriter, Branches, Loan Servicing, Attorneys and Management to ensure a smooth closing process and that all compliance requirements are met on every file.

* Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers and positively contribute to resolving issues in a solution-oriented manner.

* Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree preferred.

* 1-2 years' residential closing or other mortgage related experience in a collaborative workplace preferred.

* Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.

* Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

* Experience using Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS) required.

* Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Windows Environment to include Outlook, Word, and Excel.

* Knowledge of federal and local regulations or ordinances concerning lending activities

Location: Hybrid/Waltham, MA Salary Range: $29.81 - $38.75/hr

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Cambridge Savings Bank ranges from $29.81 - $38.75/hr. Cambridge Saving Bank will determine actual compensation for the role based on factors including, but not limited to, the successful candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
