Parts Quality Analyst

Now Hiring: Parts Quality Analyst (Temporary Assignment)

Location: Fountain Valley, CA

Pay: $30 - $40 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)

Duration: 1-3 Months

We are seeking a detail-oriented Parts Quality Analyst with automotive industry experience to support parts quality assurance, inspection management, and supplier claims processing within a high-volume Parts Distribution Center (PDC) environment. This temporary assignment is ideal for a quality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and oversee part quality inspections for current and inbound inventory, identifying and quarantining suspect stock.
• Coordinate rework, relabeling, and corrective actions with internal teams and quality engineering.
• Track open inspections, quality KPIs, and maintain detailed reporting dashboards.
• Submit and manage damage and defective supplier claims within required timelines; evaluate claims in accordance with company policy.
• Manage official quality announcements and ensure timely resolution across departments and affiliates.
• Update and maintain inspection flags in systems such as AMOS and Smartsheet.
• Support special projects and provide data-driven reporting to leadership.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of automotive parts or parts quality experience (required).
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of parts catalogs and supplier claims processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio), Adobe tools, and reporting platforms.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple quality initiatives simultaneously.
