Food Service Worker

AllHealth Network is currently looking for qualified Cook to join our team and provide kitchen operations support for an inpatient mental health treatment facility for adults, including washing dishes, serving meals, assisting cooks with meal preparation, stocking supplies, and other related kitchen duties. Job Description:

Cook



  • Ensure meals are provided on time to all clients on a daily basis by providing clean dishes, pots, pans, and equipment.
  • Ensure kitchen operations are timely and in accordance with scheduled serving times, and all areas are reset appropriately, including assisting with unloading and restocking supplies, and resetting of client dining areas.
  • Ensure all State and County health, safety, and environmental health standards are achieved and maintained.
  • Assist cooks with daily food preparation to ensure that meals and snacks are served at scheduled times.
  • Provide clean and available kitchen items by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware, and resetting dining areas.
  • Maintain a sanitary environment in the kitchen and dining areas through regular cleaning.
  • Prepare dining areas and kitchen for the next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
  • Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, pans, mixers, etc.
  • Unload and store deliveries to ensure that stock is rotated in a first-in, first-out methodology for freshness and perishable items to avoid food waste.
  • Assist with delivering and serving client meals and snacks at designated times.
  • Assist cooks with daily meal preparation and stocking supplies.
  • Report kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures to supervisor.
  • Support cooks and other staff by assisting with other related tasks, as needed.



Qualifications:



  • Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 30 pounds.
  • Must comply with all food safety procedures.
  • Must have all food handling certifications required by the city and state.
  • Must be comfortable working with individuals experiencing behavioral health issues.
  • AllHealth Network does not employ former or current clients or family members of clients receiving treatment at any AllHealth Network facilities.


Shift/Location:

Full-Time - Mon - Fri

8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Littleton, CO

Pay Rate:

$20 - $20.50
