Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Ensure the delivery of services to help prevent homelessness by promoting and raising awareness of the program and conducting initial eligibility screening for Veterans.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:






  • Performs specialized customer service and technical support functions for housing assistance and related programs by reviewing, researching, and responding to inquiries received through online portals, phone calls, and email. Provides accurate guidance to households, landlords, property managers, and community partners while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local housing regulations. Develops a comprehensive understanding of all Endeavors programs to facilitate effective and efficient client connections.
  • Conduct initial eligibility screening of Veterans seeking program assistance. Provide general information and community referrals to Veteran's not meeting program eligibility requirements.
  • Prepare reports as requested by Lead Outreach & Intake Specialist, Program Director or Regional Director
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Demonstrate Exceptional customer service in Everything you do, by placing the family, Veteran, or client first to support our mission to "Empower people to build better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities."













ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:



EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.



EXPERIENCE: 1+ years in a customer service-focused environment. Experience with homeless, low-income, veterans & their families is a strong plus.



ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion.



LICENSES: Non-Expired Driver's License with a clear record required.



VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice with current auto insurance. Up to 10% travel within the main county and surrounding areas as needed.



OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations, and at such frequency as the business needs dictate. Must be available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required to meet business needs. Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others.
