Job Description

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication. You will report concerns, assist with access control processes, and contribute to a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, and agile, reliable, innovative service.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and site leadership as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and interior areas, watching for suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, and/or potential hazards, and report concerns through the proper channels.
  • Complete detailed reports on daily activity, incidents, and/or irregularities, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
