Job Title: Supply Chain Mgmt Analyst 3 Location: Kennedy Space Center, FL 32815 Duration: 12 months assignment with possible extension Shift Schedule: This position is for 2nd shift however, candidates must be willing to work any shift as required. Pay Rate: $35/hour on W2 without benefits Job Description: Client has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Supply Chain Management Analyst to join our dynamic team in Kennedy Space Center, Florida. Role & Responsibilities: Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions. Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain. Analyzes complex material requirements. Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan. Determines part number attributes. Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability. Ensures on-time delivery. Documents and resolves order delinquencies. Reports schedule adherence issues. Develops and controls inventory plans. Optimizes inventory levels. Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories. Initiates audits. Develops and creates schedules for products and services. Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals. Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance. Works under general direction. Required Skills/Experience: More than 3 years of experience in supply chain or materials management. More than 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or customer service environment. More than 3 years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). More than 3 years of experience in Production Control and Material Management processes. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experienced Level 3: More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. More than 3 years of experience working with spacecraft/aircraft factory manufacturing, quality, and inventory/production control processes and tools (planning, MRP, BOMs, etc.). More than 3 years of experience with Material Requirements Planning, including the use of Compass Contract or a similar MRP system. Typical Education/Experience: Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
