Job Overview: This position is for a hands-on Engineering, Maintenance, & Reliability Leader with a minimum of five years' engineering/maintenance experience. This requires a strong mechanically and electrically oriented engineer with LEAN background and experience managing maintenance in a Total Productive Maintenance environment.



Responsibilities:



  • The installation and repair of all machinery / equipment.
  • Organizing and implementing preventive maintenance programs.
  • Maintaining compliance with EPA record keeping and reporting.
  • Controlling and improving the plant's repair / maintenance spending.
  • Maintaining an effective maintenance management system and repair parts inventory control system through eMaint and JDE.
  • Developing a repair and maintenance budget.
  • Assists EHS manager when needed on applicable permits and regulatory compliance
  • Assists in development and implementation of the annual capital project budget.
  • Providing technical recommendations and implementations for continuous improvement in plant production processes.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related Technical Discipline).
  • 5-10+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical and manufacturing process skills/experience.
  • Must have experience supporting and leading Lean manufacturing activities.
  • Analytical skills and understanding of problem-solving techniques/tools.
  • Data-driven, disciplined, objective and detail oriented.
  • Strong communication skills. Demonstrated ability to act as a business partner, "see the big picture," and work through ambiguity and change.
  • Advanced computer knowledge with MS Office applications (Excel, Access, etc) and other computer tools and software and a working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
