Pay Range USD $62,400.00 - USD $65,000.00 /Yr. Overview Professor Yang Yang's research group is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to lead research and development of electrified water treatment technologies under a one-year project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The successful candidate will work on the design and optimization of electrochemical treatment processes for challenging wastewaters, with emphasis on electrode material development, reactor/process engineering, scale-up, and on-site testing. The appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal based on funding availability and performance evaluation. General Purpose: To lead research and development of electrified/electrochemical water treatment technologies by designing, optimizing, and scaling reactor and electrode systems, generating high-quality experimental data, and supporting pilot and on-site testing to achieve project deliverables. Responsibilities * Develop and evaluate advanced electrode materials (e.g., fabrication, characterization, and performance testing) for electrified water treatment applications. Qualifications Education: PhD in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrochemistry, or a closely related field.
