About the Role

We are seeking a Bakery Oven Operator to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a Bakery Oven Operator, you will ensure the precise baking of products by monitoring dough quality, oven performance, and product alignment while maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant production environment. This role also contributes to team coordination and continuous improvement efforts.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 3rd
• Hours: 10:00PM - 6:30AM
• Weekend Availability: Required

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $20.00

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

• Operate and monitor proofing and oven systems to ensure products meet baking specifications
• Coordinate workflow and provide direction and training to ovenarea team members
• Ensure accurate product alignment from proofer to oven to cooling conveyor for efficient flow and quality
• Maintain a clean and compliant oven and proofer area, following GMP and safety standards
• Support continuous improvement by participating in root cause analysis and AOE activities
• Maintain accurate data entry and keeping record for process controls and quality checks
• Identify issues during area walks and contribute to waste reduction and process stability

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
• Ability to work with computers and production operating screens
• Ability to work safely using required PPE and follow GMP practices
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including standing, reaching, and handling equipment

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Experience operating ovens or proofers in a food manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of AOE systems such as Centerline and CIL
• Experience supporting or training team members
• Familiarity with continuous improvement or root cause analysis processes
