About the Role

We are seeking a Labeling System Operator to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a Labeling System Operator, you will be accountable for ensuring accurate coding, labeling, and packaging while coordinating daily tasks, monitoring freezer conditions, and upholding quality and GMP standards to support efficient and compliant packaging operations.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 1st
• Hours: 6AM - 2:30PM
• Weekend availability: Required

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $20.00

Core Accountabilities (What You'll be Doing)

• Oversee accurate application of codes, labels, and retail packaging to ensure product accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate and assign daily tasks to packaging employees to support production schedules
• Monitor freezer and core temperatures and communicate deviations promptly
• Ensure packaging documentation and data entry are completed accurately and on time
• Maintain adequate inventory of packaging materials to support uninterrupted operations
• Ensure employees follow GMPs, safety rules, and freezer PPE requirements
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe packaging areas to support quality and legal standards

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret schedules, procedures, and operating instructions
• Ability to complete routine reports and communicate effectively with employees
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn new software
• Ability to work assigned shifts and meet production needs

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience coordinating or leading packaging employees
• Experience working in freezer or temperaturecontrolled environments
• Strong attention to detail in labeling and documentation accuracy
• Knowledge of GMPs and food industry packaging standards
