*Healthcare CSR - PAP Specialist* The PAP Specialist - Patient Equipment Repairs plays a key role in supporting patients who rely on respiratory equipment. This position is responsible for coordinating and processing equipment repair requests, communicating with patients, insurance providers, referral sources, and manufacturers, and ensuring accurate documentation across multiple systems.* The specialist will manage both English and Spanish-speaking patient interactions,* providing solutions, troubleshooting issues, and delivering a high standard of customer support.
Additionally, the PAP Specialist prepares and submits audit documentation for Medicare and commercial insurance claims, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This role includes responding to audits, identifying process improvements, and educating internal teams on compliant documentation practices. *Key Responsibilities* * Manage incoming English and Spanish phone calls related to PAP equipment repairs or service needs. * Process repair orders, schedule service visits, coordinate shipments, and track equipment returns. * Perform basic troubleshooting of PAP machines to support patient needs. * Maintain strong working knowledge of HME products, company services, and insurance coverage criteria. * Accurately enter and manage patient, payer, and authorization data in company databases. * Prepare and submit Medicare and insurance audit paperwork in compliance with regulatory standards. * Respond to audit findings and communicate results to support process improvements. * Protect patient privacy and adhere to HIPAA guidelines. * Complete all required compliance and educational training programs. *Qualifications:* 1+ Year of Insurance Verification 1+ Year of Call Center Experience Strong Medical Terminology Must be bilingual in English and Spanish *Experience Level* Entry Level *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elmhurst, IL. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
