*Overview* The Customer Experience Associate (CEA) plays a critical role in delivering a *worldclass, frictionless customer experience*. This is a *highinteraction* position that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically while managing a fastpaced workload.
CEAs receive *extensive onthejob training* to prepare them for success and report directly to the *Supervisor of Customer Experience*. *Key Responsibilities* *Customer Communication & Support* * Respond quickly and professionally to customer inquiries *via phone and email*. * *Inbound Calls:* 25-50+ per day * *Emails:* 50-100+ per day * Answer questions regarding *shipping, product availability, pricing, and order status*. * Provide clear, accurate, and proactive information to deliver a seamless experience. *Problem Solving & Case Management* * Research customer questions using internal systems to identify appropriate solutions. * Create and manage customer service cases for issues requiring followup or investigation. * Apply critical thinking to understand both stated and implied customer needs. * Provide exception management and realtime transparency around order or fulfillment concerns. *CrossFunctional Collaboration* * Partner closely with teams across fulfillment, logistics, product, and operations to resolve issues quickly. * Coordinate across departments to ensure timely and accurate responses. *Operational Responsibilities* * Manage orders and customer requests across the full fulfillment chain. * Perform order entry within an ERP system. * Maintain clear, professional documentation for all customer interactions. *Required Skills & Competencies* * Customer service * Inbound call handling * Email communication * Microsoft Outlook * Microsoft Word * Order entry (ERP) * CRM familiarity (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) * Basic Excel and strong general computer skills *Required Qualifications (MustHaves)* * *2+ years of customer service experience* in a productbased company or a role with performance KPIs * (No scripted callcenter backgrounds) * *Experience with order entry* in an ERP system * Strong written communication skills, especially email * Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and general computer skills * High school diploma or equivalent *Preferred Qualifications (NicetoHaves)* * Claims processing experience * CRM experience, especially *Microsoft Dynamics* * *Highvolume inbound phone experience (50+ calls/day)* * *Microsoft Excel proficiency* *Soft Skills* * Ability to work independently and problem solve without constant direction * Resourcefulness-capable of researching answers, checking inventory, and identifying solutions * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Professional demeanor with a positive attitude * Accountability and followthrough * Excellent written and verbal communication *Experience Level* Intermediate *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tinley Park, IL. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
