Join our dynamic team as a Principal Product Marketing Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product marketing strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and drive the marketing efforts for our innovative products, ensuring they reach their full potential in the market. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and customer success, to develop and implement marketing plans that align with our business goals and values.

This role will be focused on inbound product marketing for Adobe's Premiere app on iPhone and Android, catering to the next-gen, social-first creators. The creator economy moves at the speed of a thumb-scroll-and we're building the engine behind it. We are looking for a strategic PMM to scale Premiere Mobile into the ultimate tool for social-first storytellers and pros on the go.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Planning: Set a clear vision for the product marketing team, aligning their efforts with the company's strategic goals. Communicate this vision effectively to motivate and engage the team. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that drive product awareness, adoption, and revenue growth.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, and use these insights to inform marketing strategies.

  • Product Positioning: Define and communicate the unique value propositions of our products, ensuring they resonate with target audiences.

  • Messaging: Craft compelling and consistent messaging that effectively communicates the benefits and differentiators of our products across various channels and audiences.

  • Go-to-Market Execution: Lead the go-to-market process for new product launches, including messaging, positioning, and promotional activities.

  • Driving value: Develop and implement marketing campaigns that drive measurable return on investment, using data and analytics to optimize performance and achieve business objectives.

  • Customer Journey: Map and analyze the customer journey to understand key touchpoints and problems, and develop strategies to enhance the overall customer experience and satisfaction.

  • Influencing Senior Leadership: Present marketing strategies, plans, and results to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations to influence decision-making and drive business growth. Act as a key liaison between marketing and other departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment on marketing initiatives.

  • Performance Measurement: Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, using data to optimize strategies and achieve business objectives.

  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, helping them grow and develop their skills. Inspire change and innovation within the marketing team, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability. Lead by example in embracing new ideas and approaches.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in product marketing, marketing, or a related field

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills. Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and marketing automation tools.

  • Alignment with our company's values and commitment to getting results through collaboration and innovation.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to tell a compelling narrative to leadership, extended teams, and externally as appropriate.

  • No degree required

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $145,400 -- $261,150 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $180,300 - $261,150

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
