Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Oversee planning and execution of regulatory and cloud migration projects Manage schedules, financials, and resource allocation while tracking risks and dependencies Prepare executive presentations, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and ensure compliance milestones are met Requirements: 5+ years of experience in Product Management Bachelor's Degree in any of the following specialty in JD: Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance / Economics, Engineering Demonstrated delivery of technology projects in regulated environments; understanding of compliance milestones Strong status reporting, executive presentations, and stakeholder communications (verbal and written) Schedule creation/maintenance, dependency tracking, RAID logs, and change control coordination Financials: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and vendor/SOW tracking Resource planning and capacity tracking; coordination with offshore leads Familiarity with hybrid on prem/cloud programs; sequencing for Azure/Databricks enablement Agile competence: incremental planning, sprint ceremonies, backlog health, and metrics Risk management and escalation handling; decision/issue logs and closure discipline Tooling proficiency (e.g., MS Project/Planner, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Jira/Azure Boards) Strong organizational skills and ability to drive consensus across technology and business teams Experience on Cloudera/Hadoop (HDFS, Spark, Hive/Impala) and Databricks (clusters, jobs, notebooks, Delta) Observability: structured logging, metrics, tracing; debuggability in distributed contexts Secure coding and handling of secrets, PII protection, and compliance considerations Strong communication and collaborative work style; documentation of frameworks and usage patterns Performance optimization: partitioning, caching, broadcast joins, memory tuning Comfort with Agile ceremonies and iterative delivery Desired skills: PMP or Agile certifications (PMI ACP, CSM) Experience coordinating data platform migrations and parallel operations Exposure to data governance and data quality programs Familiarity with financial services regulatory reporting cycles Pay range: $55.15 - $63.15 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
