Systems Engineer (Storage/Linux) Washington, DC Pay From: $135,000 per year MUST: Experienced Systems Engineer (Storage/Linux) 8+ years of systems engineer experience Experience with NetApp storage platform administration Experience with configuring and troubleshooting CIFS and NFS shares off of NetApp storage Experience with SnapVault and SnapMirror technologies, including configuration and reporting Experience maintaining and upgrading NetApp OnTap to newer versions Experience with cloud technologies like FSx for NetApp. Experience with design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems Ability to troubleshoot system failures and restore systems to working condition. Experience with Centrify and Kerberos for server authentication. Experience with Splunk infrastructure administration (indexers, search-heads, forwarders) Experience with AWS cloud technologies like Simple Storage Service (S3), and EC2. Bachelors Degree required DUTIES: Review and provide recommendations to enhance S&R IT strategic architecture and security roadmap and plans to further protect S&R information and systems Support the design and implementation of a robust security infrastructure that protects S&R data and systems (both on-premises and in the cloud) from internal and external threats. Enhance S&R's understanding of the Cybersecurity Executive Order including the Zero Trust Architecture and implications to the S&R business line Identify and recommend actionable approaches for adoption of the Cybersecurity Executive Order requirements Assist in preparing and conducting security briefings to leadership and stakeholders Review and recommend changes to architecture and information security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures Participates in, and conducts, special studies and projects relating to architecture and security Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
