POSITION SUMMARYThis position is required to plan and procure resources and materials for all CNG sites. The position will work with internal managers, vendors and suppliers to research, price, procure and prepare all materials and details as it relates to all site builds. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Interact with customers to ensure customer needs for products and services are being met
  • Development and management of suppliers, materials, and contract services including negotiation of terms and pricing; and resolution of materials/supplier selection, installation process, and scheduling issues.
  • Management of material/services requirements based on coordinated schedules.
  • Liaison to technical & business managers for sourcing high value items/services during new product and site development and for development and communication of change orders for established projects.
  • Management and maintenance of project bills of material and job cost information.
  • Prepare and verify purchase requisitions, prepare purchase orders, purchase items, schedule delivery and authorize payments.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior procurement or related project management experience required. Associates degree or higher preferred.
  • At least 3 years experience working within a related role.
  • The successful candidate must have strong communication and organizational skills and experience communicating and negotiating with suppliers.
  • The ability to review and analyze drawing requirements and associated BOM, artwork and layout files is essential.
  • Experience in the trucking or automotive industry is a plus.
  • Understanding of compressed natural gas fueling terminology and processes is a plus.
  • Candidate must have excellent organizational, mathematical, computer (including Excel) skills and a high attention to detail.
