POSITION SUMMARYOversees the maintenance, design and improvement of US Lubricants Product and Service Quality Assurance programs, certifications, and licenses. The recommendation, selection and administration of critical business assurance and risk mitigation activities relative to industry needs and norms. Additional adjacent activities with high-level input and involvement to include participation in enterprise and/or division initiatives as assigned. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Divisional business level lead on Quality Assurance Structure, Programs, and certifications such as ISO9001
  • Analysis and business case recommendations for other relevant industry certifications in strategic business markets up to and including Automotive, Industrial OEM, Laboratory Services, etc.
  • Develop and justify any budget or Capital Expenditure projects as it relates to quality assurance, sustainability, and back office - operations technology efficiency and accuracy tools (Elite Extra, rf guns)
  • Maintenance of critical operational quality goals and KPI's
  • Hire, train, evaluate and develop direct and indirect resources
  • Manage and delegate ongoing operational tasks to internal/external resources
  • Provide constructive feedback, mentoring, and career development planning for resources
  • Evaluate, measure, and monitor the efficiency of business procedures
  • Participation in customer support initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Develop policies and procedures and encourage adherence
  • Manage relationships with external partners and suppliers

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required:

    • 4-year College Degree
    • 5 years of experience in of relevant business experience
    • Knowledge of budgeting, planning, equipment purchasing, project management, risk mitigation, and regulatory requirements
    • Demonstrate Lead by Example capabilities. knowledge base, passion, and energy.
    • Able to develop and manage complex project timelines, multitasking, and complete initiatives on-time and on-budget.
    • Exceptional structured problem evaluation and resolution skills are a must.
    • Able to travel to prospective and existing locations on a regular basis
    • Knowledge of industry trends and relevant networking contacts and resources
    • Willingness to work closely and effectively with all divisional and corporate functions
    • Expert with MS Office and various business software (e.g. Excel, Project, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Excellent time-management skills
    • Great interpersonal and communication skills and effective leader.
    • Ability to think in the abstract and see how small details fit into the bigger picture.
    • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships throughout the organization.
