This Senior Litigation Paralegal plays a critical role in assisting in-house attorneys in all aspects of fast-paced litigation and investigations of all levels of complexity.

As a Sr. Litigation Paralegal, you will be responsible for coordinating a full range of multi-jurisdictional litigation, internal investigations and services impacting the operations of GSK's businesses around the globe as well as the ability to manage projects associated within defined processes.

  • Support managing attorneys in every stage of a litigation matter or internal investigation, including preservation, internal fact-finding, document and information collection, written discovery, eDiscovery, witness interviews, depositions, hearings, trials, and appeals.

  • Solution-oriented thinking is essential, as is exceptional judgment and communication skills, along with a strong work ethic and ability to prioritize.

  • Must be energized by working in a dynamic environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 10+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal department is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program is highly desired.

  • Experience with products liability litigation; large document litigation and/or investigation matters (especially collection and production of several million pages of documents); and oversight of contract workers and/or outside counsel attorneys and paralegals preferred.

  • Experience with internal investigations

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability and confidence to engage with employees at all levels of the company, including senior management, as well as with outside counsel partners, associates, and paralegals.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with excellent knowledge of assigned cases; to determine the best use of time with conflicting priorities; and to handle a large volume of work daily in a well-organized manner.

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, the ability to work well under pressure and be detail oriented in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated computer skills and project management experience.

  • Flexibility in work schedule, willingness to travel and to work overtime when projects require additional time and effort.

  • Significant substantive knowledge of eDiscovery practices and procedures used to manage the litigation discovery process in both large and small cases. This position will work closely with vendors involving litigation databases and will use and manage preparation of materials for use on the litigation databases

  • Expertise with common tech platforms and a strong willingness to learn new platforms as they are deployed.

  • Skillful in Legal Discovery Tools (Relativity and Ringtail) and manipulation of Discovery Dashboards.
