The Senior Program Manager / Mission Operations Coordinator provides direct programmatic and operational support to the Division Operations Lead onsite in Charleston, SC, ensuring priorities are translated into coordinated plans and successfully executed across the DHIT Division. This role focuses on integrating teams, managing day-to-day execution, and improving processes, tools, and visibility to enable efficient delivery of technology, compliance, and operational initiatives.

This position protects operational continuity by managing recurring workflows, tracking commitments, and maintaining clear communication across Core Services, industry partner teams, and leadership. The Coordinator serves as the connective tissue across the Division, reducing friction, preventing rework, and ensuring tasks are not dropped.

The ideal candidate brings strong coordination and program support experience, familiarity with enterprise platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence, SharePoint/Power Platform), and disciplined follow-through to keep work organized and moving.

Key Responsibilities & Outcomes
* Translate Division Operations priorities into structured plans, timelines, and actionable workstreams that enable consistent execution.
* Coordinate cross-team activities and dependencies to improve alignment, communication, and predictability of outcomes.
* Manage recurring operational processes (status reviews, reporting cycles, standups, and action tracking) to maintain execution rhythm and accountability.
* Maintain schedules, risks, deliverables, and commitments, providing leadership with clear and timely status updates.
* Develop dashboards, metrics, and reporting to increase transparency and support data-driven decisions.
* Support delivery of operational and IT initiatives, ensuring milestones and quality targets are met.
* Serve as the primary coordination point across Core Services teams, helping intake requests, track backlogs, and ensure follow-through on support activities.
* Promote effective use of tools and platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Power Platform, Teams) to keep work organized and visible.
* Identify and address process gaps and inefficiencies, improving cycle time and overall effectiveness.
* Support vendor coordination and performance tracking, including follow-up on deliverables and service expectations.
* Document processes and maintain operational knowledge to preserve continuity and reduce reliance on tribal knowledge.
* Perform light operational analysis to identify trends, workload imbalances, and opportunities for automation or workflow improvements.
* Serve as a trusted day-to-day support partner to the Division Operations Lead, helping prepare materials, follow up on actions, and keep priorities on track.

Required Qualifications
* 10+ years' relevant experience; or undergraduate degree and 7+ years' of relevant experience; or graduate degree and 5+ years' of relevant experience
* Experience supporting DoD, federal, or government contracting environments
* Ability to obtain secret clearance and fulfill onsite requirements

Preferred Qualifications
* Active PMP certification
* Agile certifications or training (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, etc.)
* Familiarity with enterprise IT support functions (service intake, backlog tracking, release coordination, user support workflows)
* Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate/Power Apps), SharePoint workflows, or basic automation tools
* Experience creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) or process documentation
* Exposure to data visualization or reporting tools (Power BI, Excel dashboards, etc.)

Salary: 125k+ dependent on education and experience
