Position Summary The Analyst, System Ops Safety supports System Operations compliance with and implementation of JetBlue's Safety Management System (SMS), including policies, procedures, and associated risk controls. This role is responsible for the administration, analysis, and reporting of System Operations safety data, and for supporting the execution and sustainment of safety programs such as the System Operations Audit Program (SOAP). The Analyst monitors and reports on operational projects and change management activities to identify safety impacts, emerging risks, and trends, and supports risk-based decision making. The role performs daily administrative and analytical duties in support of SMS activities, safety programs, and other responsibilities as assigned. Essential Responsibilities
- Import, manage, categorize and respond to System Operations related safety reports submitted via JEMS (JetBlue Event Management System)
- Gather information regarding safety events, conduct root cause analysis, taxonomy and Crewmember interviews and assessments. Coordinate Corrective Action Plans with stakeholders for identified findings and safety observations
- Conduct audits of System Operations processes in accordance with the System Operations Audit Program (SOAP) and assists with IOSA and DOD Gap Analysis
- Reviews, tracks, analyzes and trends System Operations Safety reports and related Safety Data and leads Department's Continuous Improvement (tracking, actioning, implementation of corrective / mitigating actions)
- Coordinate Change Management Form requests that affect the SOC
- Conduct initial risk assessments of identified hazards raised through safety assurance
- Assist with coordination of the SOC Risk Working Group and Dispatch ASAP ERC
- Generates regular reports on health of operational safety programs as well as key metrics and goals
- Create assessment of events and enter them into a database for trending purposes
- Assist in communication efforts and promotion of the Safety Department to frontline Crewmembers
- Administrative function in support of safety programs
- Assist in other projects and task as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- One (1) year analytical (or related) experience
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook with expert abilities in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong team building interpersonal skills
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Knowledge of Safety Management System (SMS)
- Experience in quantitative analysis
- Two (2) years of Part 121 airline experience
- One (1) year Dispatching experience
- One (1) year Crew Services experience
- One (1) year data analysis experience
- Knowledge of FAA regulations
- Project management experience

- Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))
- Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls
- Uphold JetBlue's safety performance metric goals and understand how they relate to their duties and responsibilities
- The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $64,350.00 and $89,600.00 per year.
