We are seeking a Senior Principal Business Analyst to drive high-impact projects, partner with clients, and support presales initiatives. You will be at the centre of shaping solutions that transform payments, cash management, and treasury operations across leading organizations.

What the Role Offers:

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis for payments-focused initiatives, from requirements gathering to solution delivery, onboarding, and post-go-live support.
  • Partner directly with clients to understand business needs, recommend solutions, and deliver exceptional outcomes.
  • Support & lead presales activities: workshops, solution scoping, proposals, and demos to win new business.
  • Define, document, and maintain business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
  • Analyse complex financial and payment processes, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), to simplify workflows and reduce operational complexity.
  • Provide expert guidance on payment messaging standards, including SWIFT, FileAct, ISO 15022, and ISO 20022, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, promoting excellence in business analysis, client engagement, and project delivery. Act as a leader.
  • Support compliance initiatives; experience with sanctions screening (eg OFAC) is highly beneficial.
  • Work within Agile project disciplines, including Scrum project management framework, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Take a central role in product development and leadership, to ensure that our service offering is always improving and expanding.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in business analysis or related roles within financial services, corporate treasury, or fintech.
  • Strong expertise in SWIFT, ISO 15022, and ISO 20022 messaging (essential).
  • Hands-on experience with at least two of: EDI, EFT, ACH, FED.
  • Proven client-facing experience, including presales, workshops, or solution consulting.
  • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and/or Accounts Receivable (AR) processes is a plus.
  • Experience with sanction screening and/or other similar compliance activities is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Agile project disciplines, including Scrum, is very useful. Be able to lead and manage sprints, and oversee and direct overall release/deployment activities.
  • Exceptional ability to simplify complex business processes and translate them into actionable requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience engaging senior client stakeholders.
  • Experience leading projects or mentoring analysts in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Familiarity with financial services applications supporting payments, cash, lending, or treasury operations.

Salary Range: $134,540- $221,030 Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.

California Residents: The pay range above is a reasonable estimate of salary based on pay scale, candidate experience, skills, and education. In addition to the comprehensive benefits noted above, the role may be eligible for bonus or commissions.
