THE POSITION

You will be working with a small but focused team in a larger agency comprised of a mix of state and contracted staff with the goal of recruiting and retaining experienced personnel for the agency. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As part of the Office of Long-Term Living's Chief of Staff Office, you will be working on assigning parking, scheduling badge appointments, and coordinating equipment distribution for the office's state and contracted staff. You will work with the Office of Administration's Human Resources to post vacant positions, recruit, and retain candidates. A primary function is the middle-man between hiring supervisors and analysts. You will be maintaining and updating office phone directories, organization charts, and shared folders. Some time keeping duties and back-up mail distribution work as required.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to X days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg, PA. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Special Requirement:
- This position requires you to possess keyboarding skills to meet standards for speed and accuracy.
